Have been living further away for a few year and moved back recently. Was checking to see if it was still operating. Very sad to see it's closed. Chris was always a good laugh, and what better way to spend a day when the weather was shite!
Was where I learnt to ride half-pipe, and what a great one!
Much missed.
Radlands was legendary, i miss it so much. its where i used 2 live on weekends, and it was the only place u could skate with ya budz in a safe environment and keeping out of bother on the streets !! R.I.P RADLANDSSS!!
When it was raining Radlands was always priority number one!
The whole Ince family were always proper friendly and the park was the best in the U.K.
Thanks for all the amazing comps you guys had down there and I hope you are all well!

forgot crazylegs j in my last post as well as all the other matts (so many matts in northampton it's unreal, remember slinging arrows with 4 other matts which was a tad confusing!)
Cheers for the name drop in the History. Apologies for being a little hooligan that gobbed all over the place.
As the title says so many sweet memories from Radlands. Whether it's the fried egg, bacon and cheese burgers Chris used to make me or standing in awe whilst Tom Penny alley oop backside flipped at head height in that midi you had when it first opened.
I was getting my haircut last year and some Aussie matey knew all about Carl Shipman's ridiculous frontside bluntslides on that flat handrail as he'd watched them on DVD all they way over there.

we realy need a skatepark in brackley because are one is totaly trashed by fucking chav's and we need an indoor one so we can skate inside when eva we have an erge to so plz can you build one for us.
have any of you thought about yearly/monthly membership? that way you have a fixed income. and also the people who have membership still pay at the door but on a reduced rate and people who dont have membership have to pay the full entry fee. or what about multiple silent partners? people willing to front up cash each year to help pay for the bills, new ramps, maintenance etc. if you were to be serious about re-opening, this would be worth implementing perhaps. so if you were going to re-open, advertise it on here. say you need x-amount of memberships to be placed for it to happen. or a similiar thing with the silent partner route. i know i'd be interested.
Radlands was ace i used 2 skate there all the time. like very saturday and sunday and after school sumtimes aswell! :) whats going on anyway? ive heard its gonna re-open???
I used to travel up from Essex to Radlands back in the day and have some great memories of skating the park. The comps in 1995/96 were the best though, wicked vibe and truly amazing skating were the order of the day.
hey hey people. who's running this show then last time i checked someone hadn't paid the bill for this url and it'd gone. where r u now damien? steve? thot you'd all gone got straight jobs. may not remember me i used to skate with tronic and luke dickens people like that, so what you up to now if this shops yours?!
Yo you need to get all the Radder's garms on here. Like the T's, Hoodies .etc... Then you'll really start raking in the coin off the Radlands faithfull.... I for one would be happy to part with a big chunk of my small pay check in order to represent the only good thing to ever happen in Shoe town.
hope all is going well ,
northamtpon is bre to shit to skate now,
either the floors all fucked up or security or chavs,
we neeed some hardcore fund raising to get radlands back , r.i.p.
